Aloha from Maui

What beats New York when it is in the single digits in Midtown? Pretty much anything.

But in this case: Hawai'i --and lots of it.

This morning, Suzie and I awoke at o'dark thirty and hit the skies for Maui. Fourteen or so hours later, we were cruising in our convertible along Highway 30 to Kaanapali in West Maui, marveling at the floral-scented, warm and humid air. We arrived exhausted, but very happy to be starting our long-anticipated vacation.
