Today was a Bank Holiday, and we went by Grims Dyke Hotel, a former estate of Sullivan (of Gilbert & Sullivan), that's it behind the fire engine. It was a mob scene there--we were seeking high tea, but were put off by the dancing buffoons, ice cream truck and Suzie's groupies (who also moonlight putting out Her Majesty's Fires).
