The house where Suzie grew up is in a North London neighborhood called Hendon. It is a lovely area, with beautiful homes and gardens. Her house is very British, with doors separating all the rooms, as well as a W.C. separate from the bathroom. 
The house has a spectacular garden, and this morning I woke up to birds singing, including a few gorgeous Magpies. I'll post photos of the house soon, but so far, here is one looking out the double-height window on the staircase landing, overlooking the back yard.
